sellers pics first
followed by my pics which are after a very careful conservation exercise with verdi chem and a couple of rose thorns...amazing how lighting differences bring out the copper in the coin...

full cartwheel, I'm in at MS of some level

my wife told me today if the gold and numismatics market crashes she'll talk me deaf about why I should have added my extra income to the IRA's and savings...

Could "market-grade" low MS but the fields and high points of the devices say lightly circulated. My guess is AU55.

There was another thread on a similar coin that was sent to NGC and came back MS62. This coin looks a lot like that one did.

I will agree with AU-55. From my interpretation of the photos, the coin appears to a little too much friction in the fields, face, hair, and feathers to grade MS. If the face, hair, and feathers appeared nearly as lustrous as the field in between the rim and stars, then I could see it grading a low MS despite having friction in the more open areas of the fields. Unless additional photos show otherwise, I think it likely grades AU. Nice buy and the coin looks much better after conservation!
