Recently found this one in a old roll. Sure would appreciate some help. RPM? with a Double Die? Can't find it in Cherrypickers. And what's going on in the center? Kind of looks like a turned up 'C'?

I added two pics of full coin Obv&Rev / The MM is the only area of doubling, but there is something going on left of the eagle's right wing

Does not look like an RPM. Looks like Machine Doubling or tripling and maybe some PMD.

I was thinking maybe a coin rolling machine hit the mint mark. What does the whole obverse look like? Looking again, maybe not. It couldn't have gone all the way around the D. I don't know.

It appears to be an isolated case of Machine Doubling. If the other devices are affected you will see that is what is going on. It also has had circulation wear and possible coin damage that made the material around the mint mark make the pattern on the inside that you see. Just a normal circulated coin with Machine Doubling. Still worth it's weight in silver.

Ok., so if the center of the die punch was 'worn'.., why not the edges of the die punch?

The punch is normal. If you look at the area in the center is affected, you can see that it took a hit in that area. If runs NE/SW on the mint mark. That rolled the silver toward the center of the mint mark.
