Okay, hear me out: In Alberta, most of the American coins I find are from Denver, not Philadelphia. This is interesting, because I thought that by the time they hit Canada, most American coins would be so dispersed and mixed that there wouldn't be much of a bias, and yet I have 23 D-mint State Quarters in my folder (and a few more duplicates that I don't count) compared to 12 P-mints (and I've only found one P duplicate). Quebec's pretty far east, do the Quebecois get mostly P-mints? What about Ontario, are you guys trapped in the middle?

I'm in Ontario and I get pretty much 50 50 with the occasional s mint. Last week I found a 1971s penny on the ground.

I'm in Alberta. I get lots of S and D but also Philly as well. A good mix.

Plus I'm closer to the border.

I only see a few with a D mint mark. Mostly I find ones with a P or none, here in Saskatchewan.

Here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan I'd say it's about 70% D and 30% P split. I've managed to complete my D State Quarter collection but have about 14 states to go for my P State Quarters. The few Territorial and ATB Quarters I've received have been mostly D. As for S, with the elimination of the penny I doubt I'll ever receive another S coin in my change, but I used to see the occasional one.
