Looks good to me, but I'd wait on the experts. You are on a roll lately! Keep it up.

Yes, I can see at least 5 or 6 other areas (they're kind of tiny) with my loupe. Also, I can find two of the three markers in CC.

I am jealous, John1, it is a cool looking coin. I would still like to find your avatar, though, that is the coolest of the ear doubled dies imho.

I get a $50 bag of pennies from my bank, they save them for me, and I go through the 5,000 pennies as quickly as I can (about 4-5 days). Like most of you, I suspect, I have memorized the majority of what to look for. Also, since I just started doing this Error/Variety coin thing in March, I feel that I have a little "beginner's luck" going on. Add to that the fact that I live in a fairly small town without much competition and right now I am like a kid in a candy shop and having a blast!

I know what you mean, coinaki, as far as DD's are concerned, I have found 2 D-Ears (1997,2006), a major and several small columnar LMC DDR's, a few 2009 FY DDR's and yet no doubled letters or numbers. I keep patiently hoping for my first. coinaki, since you and I both started about the same time don't you think the people on this forum are great. I feel like I am being a given college-level education for free. Amazing!

Quote: Sudz are you going through boxes of pennies from the bank or an old hoard ? I guess going through 1,000 coins per day would get you the results he's getting. Wow, that's quite a lot of checking, Suds. Good for you if you got the time.
