Uhhh..ummm...Uhhhh...Ummmmm

We've got a coin here of either Leo, Leontis, Zeno or Anastasius. I dont know which. Proooobably Anastasius. Maybe Zeno.

For the moment, I'm calling it anastasius. see the picture (probably comes out as a copper disc). I've included a drawing of the monogram beside it.

Visual imagination? That would be to call this J nepos! Nope, in hand these things are more detailed. most monogram coins are worn slick like this. This one isn't in too bad a nick.

The way the left side of the monogram looks like an "A" would make it more likely to be a monogram of Leo I.
I remember selling some "Monogram" AEs last year, a lot of fun it was trying to figure out the exact monogram for the emperor, the one I had was Marcian.
