Just received my box of "goodies" back from NGC today with some interesting results. Let's see what your assessment is on this 1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar (Two Leaves). I'll post the result tomorrow. PG

I'm going with NickelSearcher as well, VG 8. I've seen too many of these slabbed in this appearance at that grade. Sadly that's what I keep doing is Looking with hopes to ADD one day. Beautiful Coin Paleo Me Wantee......

It looks like a VG-8 but for some reason, I am getting the feeling NGC gave it a details grade. I hope I am wrong.

My impression was also VG-08. Sweet rare coin!

The first impressions were evidently the best.. I also think VG, but will gladly take the "without details" grade...

Darn! Too late for the guessing.
I love these old gals. Recently picked up an F-12. Congrats paleoguy! Another nice coin for your collection.
Edit: Weak strike from 2-4 O'clock or wear?
