Not too ezxpensive, large enough coins to show great detail...and it's gold anyways, would these circled marks make it a deatils coin? I think it also looks cleaned, but the seller says it's the scan that makes it look kind of off. But I'm more interested in the marks I've circled.. thanks Report this Post to the Staff

Soft as gold is, it tends to get a bit of a pass as regards marks of that nature. You can't tell surface originality from a scan, but the contrast between the open areas of the fields and nearer the devices does make me a bit nervous. Report this Post to the Staff

If you are getting a good bargain on the coin then you should go ahead and buy the coin. Don't let these marks put you off! This is because 2 of the 3 marks that you have circled are in the field area and not on the main design. Report this Post to the Staff
