Hello!

I would like the opinions of you kind gentlemen!!

Much appreciated!

P.s: the white stripe on the Kings shoulder is on the capsule and not the coin.

MS60....Nice coin. Has a few to many bag marks for better. Very hard to find a coin from this gold series that is not "baggy". Of all the hoard gold coins been posted so far, only a couple I have seen would be MS63. IMO.

I think the 'bag' marks are on the holder not the coin.

Hi moejaber and fellow members!

It's virtually impossible to properly grade these Canada Reserve gold coins when they remain in their plastic capsules. This problem is made worse when one tries to grade from photos of them. If you really must know what the "real" grade is, send them to a respected grader like PCGS or ICCS.

Personally, I plan to keep my complete set of six coins inside their hologram sealed capsules. This is the way I received them, and I will enjoy them this way to the maximum. The RCM's packaging is enough provenance for me.

For the record, I have one of each of the Hand Selected 1912, 1913 and 1914 $5 coins; one Hand Selected 1912 $10 coin (black clam shells for these four): and one of each of the Premium Hand Selected $1913 and 1914 $10 coins (neat wooden boxes for these two).

I never plan to sell these coins, so I don't care what they would grade at.

Please note that no offense is intended to those of you who are very concerned with grading these particular coins coins. These are just my own peculiar personal feelings about these very special coins.

Hey NuMoosematist,

I'm not worried about the grade in a profit oriented way. What I'm concerned about is actually getting the highest quality possible for the coins as this is how I collect, get the best possible specimen available.

As for sending the coins for grading, I did have one $5 1914 graded and got back as an MS64! the rest I plan on keeping them in the black clamshell box which I honestly do enjoy as well.

No offense is taken whatsoever! I enjoy different opinions and I'm glad you appreciate these coins!
