I recently bought two realistic electrotype cast replicas of a 1793 chain cent and 1794 Half Cent on ebay from neocoins. They were, of course, sold as electrotype replicas and the seller stated the word "copy" is discreetly stamped on the coins, though I have not yet examined them closely enough to find it. Though noticeably underweight, they certainly look real with wear and toning. Even the rim nicks and pitting on the chain cent are replicated. I purchased the two for $15.00 total --- free shipping. Are there any other American dealers who sell such realistic-looking replicas of US coins? I believe Ken Potter sells replicas, but they are usually uncirculated specimens. I am looking for copies circulated coins for my "black cabinet" as an educational tool. Thank you.

Haven't heard of any places but I'll keep my eyes open. Do you have any pictures of your new coins?
