I assume everyone has seen the story of the estimated 500 million dollar treasure recovered off the coast of England. I saw a picture that has large plastic containers. One was open and appeared to have large silver coins in it. Anyone know what country and denominations are included? If they are US colonial and post colonial that many coins hitting the market (provided that they are not heavily corroded) could significantly affect rarity for some old issues and depress prices. I wonder what they found?

I am going to lock this topic so that all posts can be made there rather than have multiple threads about the same topic.
