Now the waiting game starts On 6/10/2013 or maybe one day sooner I will be getting my Gold coin back in hands. I don't know what grade but I will make my guess AU-55. I am not sure if there IS wear or not on the flowers. Here's the email from ANACS: Quote:
Josh, Thank you for the submission. Your coin is scheduled to ship on 6/6 (15 business days or about three weeks). Everything appears to be on-time. Please let us know if you need anything else. The coin: The pictures are up! Edited by solotime 05/24/2013 7:46 pm

Tough call from the pics. They may grade it an AU-53. Good luck!

@coinman, because I was an idiot in such a hurry.
I should have went with PCGS. It costed me 46 dollars just for one coin...
@doubl3eagle, even if so, that's not bad :)
I planning on buying a new gold coin soon. (maybe, it's really all depends if 300 can get one)

Quote: I should have went with PCGS. It costed me 46 dollars just for one coin... Considering everything else (shipping, insurance) is the same, the cheapest grading cost for this coin is $19 at ANACS and $32 at PCGS. Higher tiers are similar in comparison. PCGS has its' advantages but cost is not one of them.

The advantages of PCGS come into play if you want to sell or if you want to participate in a registry. If you are not concerned about those things, then the price savings is worth it.

Love that coin... I don't think AU55 is unreasonable. Good luck.

@SsuperDdave, I should have explained better. Sorry about that. What I was trying to say was, wouldn't it cost almost just as much for PCGS? Because the 1 year member ship for PCGS gives 4 free gradings. The cost in $129 dollars. I have a 1973-s proof ike I would like graded. Also a few other coins. They not really big value ones but they would mostly make high grades and be worth more. But anyway I picked ANACS. I'm not going to complain anymore about it, I still like ANACS.
@usc96, Thanks! I bought it because it was the only one my dealer had. He has some nice 5 dollar ones but I can't afford them.
@BamaBlue, I seen a MS-61 look just like mine! But the problem is, I can't tell if mine has wear or not. Because the pictures aren't the best.

ANACS sent the coin to me,but I missed the FedEx truck. They put a door tag to let me know. I will have to wait later to get the coin.

Congrats on the return of your coin. Good to know it is genuine and uncleaned. I do think they were a bit tough on the grade, thought for sure you would have gotten a 53 or 55 for this one.

I thought it would be AU-53. I wish I was able to open it without seeing the paper. They put a paper inside that said the grade. So once I saw that, it wasn't that exciting to see the coin. I say they done a great job. No problems listed about the coin. It has a few light scratches but nothing wrong with it. *added* You know what's funny? ANACS gave me three submission forums

ANACS seems to be a decent grading firm, I just don't care for the shape of their slabs.
