Looks harshly cleaned, and also pitted on the obverse. Details are AU, but I'd trade it for a problem free VF if I could.

Details are absolutely AU, looks cleaned to me as well. Morgan, can you take a picture at less of an angle with the lighting to reduce the glare. I would love to see this, great pick up!!

I agree with AU details. Perhaps it was a ground find and the one who found it decided to polish it in the process cleaning it.

It has that micro-porosity associated with being in the ground at one time. Nice detail and coin despite that!

Nice details still left on it, but I have to agree with others, looks like ED (environmental damage) probably from spending some time in contact with the ground.
