1998-D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Struck Through Grease? No FG

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/25/2013 01:54 am Over polishing removed the designers initials or Struck Through Grease. They were there when the die was new. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/25/2013 10:01 am The lines you mentioned are the lines formed on the stock material. Even after a full strike they can be seen on some examples. Here are two coins I found in a roll that have these. Each have the same marker and the lines run in different directions.
