I bought this bust dime the other day since it looks like it has some character. What would you guys grade this coin at? Also, is this of the JR-2 variety? The worn reverse makes it pretty difficult to tell! Thanks for your time

plenty of character

great dime
I'll go G6

could be a JR-7 or 8, I cannot tell much but I am diagnosing the distance between the end of the motto scroll and the eagles (my) right upper wing tip - I think (heavy emphasis on think) that the JR-2 has a bit of a closer gap than your coin in that area

either way, a series expert should happen along and assist you with attributing

Obverse might be G, but the reverse is really worn, so I'd call it AG3 on a good day.

can't speak to variety but i'll grade this FR2. dont think its strong enough for AG3. no letters of LIBERTY and not enough detail on rev to warrant higher. however, saying that...Its a clean, well circulated coin thats seen many pocket liners over its life.

The reverse looks like a FR-2 while the obverse is more AG-3/G-4ish. I'm going to call it a weak AG-3.

Barely makes AG3 but the obverse should carry it. Reverse is FR2 and the coin appears to be in decent overall condition for that level of wear.

Sure looks like it could be a JR-2.

It in my opinion it's a G-3. It's probably gone through a
lot to end up in that condition.

It looks like a g4 on the obverse, fair on the reverse, net AG-3.

This coin would never make G-4 IMO. AG-3 is generous.
