What would you grade this coin? How much would you pay for it in a problem-free PCGS slab? Comments and opinions welcome! Thanks for the comments! No secrets here, this one is an F12 on ebay BIN for $1,099. Have a look, I was interested in it and wanted some good CCF input! http://www.ebay.com/itm/29092360588....m1438.l2649

A bit hard to call from these pics, but I think it belongs somewhere around F15-VF20, and if I'll guess PCGS have called it VF20.

I'm giving it a F15, but I am not an expert.
It's a nice key date, and I'd expect to pay around $1000 for it.

I think F12 but seeing as it's a key date, PCGS may have pushed it up a tad bit to F15. I can't see enough LIBERTY showing to make VF.

First impression is a F12. Nice problem free coin IMO.

If F15, roughly $1300.

Looks F-15 to me, just a tad weak on the Liberty for VF. Beautiful coin,...I have never owned one. someday....

How can PCGS grade it at F12 with liberty worn?

No Dave, I'm thinking about making the seller an offer and appreciate the CCF input!

Quote: How can PCGS grade it at F12 with liberty worn? "buy the coin, not the slab" - unless your doing a set registry and are trying to stay in a consistent grade tier, than buy the slab...

Quote: How can PCGS grade it at F12 with liberty worn? A full LIBERTY is not required at F12. Only that each letter is visible. It appears the obverse strike is a touch light though.
