Anyone have an idea of how old this Littleton coin packaging is? When did they switch to the cellophane mint set style packaging?

My guess is early to mid 1980s.

Let's see how good my guess was. Hm. Can't figure it out from my Red Book collection. Must be from the Hunt Bros silver spike in '80? Otherwise no idea, sorry!

As a kid, my first order from Littleton would have been around 1983-84 and their coins were in cello packs at that time.

Why don't you email tham and ask them directly. They still are in business.

Based on the typeface used I would guess 1960's.

The company was started in 1945 by Maynard Sundman and his sons still own the company today

Yep I too remember the cello packs in the late 1970 early 1980's so I'd think 1960's time frame.
