Just looking for opinions from knowledgeable folk on this forum as to whether this coin is genuine. I know it's not easy without seeing the edge, but from my limited experience it looks okay. Am I right in assuming that star-shaped defect near the '7' is a die-strike error, not a chop-mark? Thanks!

Very fine. I think it is a hit accidentally. If the weight is ok, I am sure it is genuine.

Looks genuine to me. The mark could be a counter mark used to adjust the coin's weight.

The coin looks like it was cleaned. Something about the snake in the birds beak does not seem right. Heck if it rings.. $40.
