panzaldi, what is it that makes you worried? Just curious.

To my noobish eye, I think this may have been dipped to look aged after it was cleaned (the details around the stars make me think this was so).

Curious to see what others say

My first thought was that it was cleaned just hy the Colorado changes on the obverse.

It was cleaned at some point but I am not to sure it was dipped. The cleaning may have been a long time ago so it has re-toned. But something defiantly looks fishy about the obverse. (On the cheek and to both of her sides there is a lighter, copper colour to it.)

I know what bothers me about it..

It has a very weird wear pattern. The lower curls are very sharp, like a XF-AU coin, but the liberty, and the upper hair looks a worn, although I'm not sure this is the case.

It's almost looks like a Photoshopped pic (looks like someone have decided to blur parts of the coin for some reason, maybe to emulate wear).

Attached is the pic, with the changes I believe was made to it..

Do you own the coin? (guess not)
If not, what's the seller asking for it?

Supgog I think you may have nailed it. My money is on that these pics may be altered to hide something. I do not own this coin. I think its listed for $10

Could the "blurring" be some kind of actual damage to the surface?

I think it was dipped in something to turn Chocolate.
So maybe cleaned then dipped.

( Makes me think of Hershey bar)

I'd pay 10$ for this one.
Assuming that the seller hides something (a hit over the I in LIBERTY?), it still is a nice coin.

If you decide to let this one go, please send me the link.
