I've gone from 7/25 to 7/11 and now to 8/8. Ah well. I only need to know mine are coming eventually. Although I would like them sooner.

Quote: The logic that the bulk large orders of thousands is delaying the shipment to the smaller orders, is kind of defeated when you read the small orders get shipped first because of the special handling for larger orders...
It really doesn't make a lot of sense. I almost feel like they just didnt have enough left at the moment to fill an order of 12 or whatever it was so they just sent out some individual orders with what they had left. Quote: Does the US Mint know what they are doing? When it comes to the mint to demand products the answer is definitely no. Its a debacle from start to finish which is one of the reasons I dont like that method

IMHO I'm going to end up thinking the enhanced uncirculated blows the RP out of the water in looks! However from what I've seen so far it looks more like an enhanced proof, but I haven't seen one in person...

It does look more proof than uncirculated, maybe that will be the next one they do where its more uncirculated than proof

I think your spot on about it being more of a enhanced proof. First impression for me is the obverse is awesome, the reverse is great. But there is just something about the RP reverse that I still prefer. I'm sure my opinion will change back and forth the more I look at it though. I guess that adds to the fun of this.

It's interesting to know that Teach got his graded coins from Silvertowne on 6/25; then I sent an email asking Silvertowne when I should receive my (ordered on 6/7).... here's the answer I got from Anita:
"We just got the coins (raw) on Friday and sent them to be graded. They will be shipped end of month 1st of July. You will receive an email the day it ships Anita N CSR/PA"
So, what should my follow up email be? I don't want to reference Teach post and CCF though (don't want to put anyone in a hard position)..........

My guess is that she just has a standard reply that she would have said regardless of what you wrote. They may be ahead of schedule, for what its worth PCGS turn around times are really fast right now it looks like they finally got their backlog cleared. I ordered mine the same day and I'm planning on giving them till tuesday before contacting them when they should be shipping.
If you really wanted to follow up though you could just mention one of your friends already got theirs which is why you were wondering and they would have no way of knowing who youre talking about unless Teach is somehow the only person to have had it shipped already

My set was delivered yesterday. Debating now whether to open it up or leave it in the package and get it graded as First Strikes. Wish I had bought two now and I wouldn't have my dilemma.
