I am thinking that this coin is probably VF considering the small hits on the reverse, something I tend to expect when dealing with circulated coins. I was wondering if this coin looks more XF. It really doesn't matter since there value is about the same but just wondering.

I would disagree about an AG grade on that large cent but that was the wrong picture. I uploaded a 1838 instead of a 1883. The hair chords and the "LIBERTY" would certainly knock it out of the AG range easy. Everyone has the right to their own opinion and grading can be subjective though. I think though if it was submitted, it would be difficult to determine what it would come back as. I heard it might come back netted to VG08. Anyhow this is the coin I am wondering about even though the grades VF, XF, and AU have the same value. No matter what the grade is, looks like a $10 coin to me.

This coin appears to be right on with a High VF35
I'm not too good with the Large Cents, So I could be completely off :) It was a very nice coin tho, I love all old US.

This is a high end VF. It has just too much wear on the hair over the ear to make EF.

there is lots of wear on the hair, so VF-30 is my opinion.
