I don't know if it quite reaches AU55, but it's definitely a candidate for submission. This year is kinda pricey even in AU.

Liberty looks rubbed a little to much and the "I" kinda fades at the top, and the "L" does the same on the left. On the reverse the tops of the leaves look a tad worn, so yes definitely AU grade, but I'm tending for an AU50. Too many obv. field dings and the reverse has some gunk. On the obverse to the left of Liberty's face, could those be clash marks?

just looked through the die varieties of US Large Cents by Grellman. I can't match yours up to the right N. Crack to rim at 6:30 on the reverse. Base of TA connected in STATES. These aren't mentioned anywhere. I'm puzzled ...

I see that now amida. I see the small mostly horizontal line to the right of the base of the 1 in the date.

Very nice tougher date! I'm at AU-50 to 53 for the reasons Kopper Ken mentioned & definitely worth a trip to a TPG'er! Again very nice!

I'm in at AU50/53 the only reall downside I see are the scribles in front of the face of Liberty, and the hit behind the head, a bit of verdigris on the reverse, but the color looks pretty good and hardly any rub at all, so close to MS but lowered AU grade due to the previously mentioned areas.

I wouldn't take that bet! It just might go higher. Maybe AU55/58? I don't think it deserves it, but man it's pretty!

Thank you all for your feedback and enthusiasm! I plan to put together a set coins for submission to save on shipping and associated submission costs. It may take me a while to put these together but I will post up the the results when I do:)
