Newfoundland 1900 50 Cents With Reverse Rotated 180 Degrees

Hi

My daughter found a Newfoundland 50 cent piece in a junk box recently. It isn't in the best condition but when we looked it up quickly discovered that the reverse which is 180 degrees to the obverse didn't match the standard minted version. Has any of the members seen one like this?

The alignment you describe is normal for 1900 and earlier Newfoundland 50 cents.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
