DEVLEC Pillar of the Community Canada 3234 Posts	Posted 05/30/2013 6:58 pm Using the 2010 Charlton Catalogue and reviewing pages 309 to 317, I could not see your variety. ..and all of those pages were showing only the 1885 5 cents varieties. Yours is completely distinct from the many listed examples in those many pages. Your coin almost looks like an extra piece fell into the # 5 of the die as it was struck. DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9871 Posts	Posted 05/31/2013 10:59 am Small 5 Doesn't appear to be a 5/5,I think they all have a little bit of extra metal showing at the upper left corner of the five.Can't see that on your coin.
