A question regarding details grade slabs: how many problems will the TPG's list on a slab or only the most obvious or detrimental to the coins value?

If you have an NGC Uncirculated Details Obverse Damage slab that looks blast white can you assume the coin has not been cleaned?

What if a coin has been cleaned, has wheel marks from a roller, a staple scratch from pulling it out of a 2 X 2, rim nicks, and just to make things interesting graffiti from someone carving their initials on it.

Which problem(s) will a TPG note on the holder?

I dont think I've ever seen one with a laundry list of problems on it, they probably pick the biggest I guess. If its unciruculated and blast white that doesn't mean its necessarily been cleaned even if damaged. Its a lame answer but just taking it on a case by case basis is probably the best way to go about it.

I think usually they just list the first one they notice that would result in getting a details grade.

I know I have seen some ANACS slabs where there were 3 problems listed. I may have seen one which had 4 problems but I am not sure. I know NGC will list 2 problems. I think PCGS just puts the most significant problem.

Edit: Just found an older ANACS slab on Heritage with 5 problems noted and saw a few with the yellow label with 4 problems.

Anacs should have just listed what wasnt wrong with that coin, would have been faster lol. I did notice that was an old holder though, wonder if they still do that or not
