i have this 1857 Flying Eagle cent, and I was just wondering what grade it is and the value of the coin, thanks :)

Unfortunately, the damage takes off a lot of the value.
Also, I didn't notice what seems to be a rim damage at 1 o'clock on the reverse.

I'd value this one at 60$.

VF details. The marked for problem coins is much smaller and so is the value. I would say $45-50 due to a rim bump and surface/color issues.

You guys are being too generous. You can find really cheap damaged Flying Eagle cents like this on ebay. I say $30 - $35 tops.

The coin you've posted looks (IMO) worse than the one the OP have posted.

Besides, he was looking at Numismedia FMV, which is retail prices, and can't be compared to ebay..
