I have purchased a couple NNC slabs when they were a specific VAM I was looking for and only in one case was the coin problem free but it was a lesser grade than they had it labeled as (which I knew when purchasing). At least two of the others had some pretty major rim damage that the foam insert that NNC uses in their slabs hid until it was cracked out. So please beware that the inserts they use will definitely hide any rim damage until its to late and the coin is cracked out to where you can't send it back for a refund

That doesn't address the outcome - if he won, why hasn't ebay changed the policy?
