First:

DISCLAIMER: I'm not an expert, but ebay past sales are a good indication of value. Also, you might as well not include the CoA as they dont show pictures, dont refer to the coin at all and can easily be photocopied. Id expect at least a serial number or something.

Well, the first one is Septimus Severus (or one of the guys around then, but I believe it reads SEPT S) and a pagan deity standing left. That means it mustve been minted after 193AD, more than 150 years after the supposed death of jesus. In this condition, it is nothing special - you'd get £10-15. This is the 'Roman Dinari' which should say 'Roman Denarius' or 'Roman Denarii' for plural.

The second is a shekel of tyre and boy is it nice. This would be referred to as a Tetradrachm by most as it is weighs 4 drachms. Tets are pricey things - valued at £180-300, id say, based on ebay sales. One was recently sold for £1,600 but it was in top shape and the seller got lucky. The coin shows a bust of Melquarth and an eagle walking left on the other side - a very nice egyptian design, but this is from phoenicia. The date can be determined exactly by the letters to the left of the eagle - I thikn I can see POA, which fits with the rest of the coin. That makes it 45/46AD.

Heres the full ID:
Phoenicia, Tyre. AR Half Shekel (7.17 gm). Struck 45/46 AD. Bust of Melqarth right /
Eagle standing left on prow, club in field, date across field. RPC I 4702 (one
example cited); BMC Phoenicia pg. 253, 243 var.

Swap the certificates, the first is a denarius and the second a shekel.

The 'cert' qualifies as a novelty in itself. Barry Goldwater Jr ? Son of the GOP candidate for President 1964 and US Rep from California 1969-83 ?
The denarius is a bit rough and probably would bring less than you would be happy with ..... You may want to hang onto it. The 'shekel' is rather nice but selling it for a retail price might be hard. Most collectors wouldn't be impressed with the certs and would assume they imply someone got 'skinned' on the original purchase. If you sell it yourself be prepared to have to settle for less than you may have paid. I would 'guess' a few hundred might be close.

I agree with Ben, the shekel is an iconic coin, you will have more than ancient coin collectors wanting it.

Ben is correct but what is there is not a half shekel, but a whole shekel (12-15g based on wear your in 14 range?) yours looks legit, small flan for date, the date, the punic letter. $600 all day. I just picked on up all be it in lesser condition. That particular shekel could not have been one of the 30 pieces, because it was minted after the deed was done. It is a nice example of what the coins would have looked like and the coin still commands a premium over others types of like condition. Congrats.

The denarius eh, $40-50 Bucks...

I agree with the 'retail' price estimate. The problem when selling is that retail is often impossible to obtain. You can try ebay but you may need to list it for a long time. I saw a man at the New York International about twenty years ago. He had rented a table and had a case with one coin. Sestertius of Britannicus. A very determined man who wanted to get the 'whole enchilada' ......... $15,000 ask. In retrospect I wish I had haggled over the price and bought it. I would be a happy man today !
As for the denarius if you get $40 for it I would be amazed ......
I am a notorious cheapskate but I see a ten spot ........ Tops !

I can see the shekel going for multiple prices (and would not be surprised about any), but the Septimus Severus would go for $15 to $30 at most on ebay, they are very common in better shape.

I presume you realize now that the coins and certificates were switched in the photos. The certificate is worthless. There is nothing to tie it to the coin, and it even misspells "denarii".
The Septimius Severus is in poor shape and not worth much, not more than $10. The shekel of Tyre is much better, but seems to have a very weak profile, especially at the nose. It is crowded, the eagle's head is not fully on, nor is the obverse head. If you can find an otherwise comparable coin with a good profile, the price comparison might be that this coin is worth only half that one. Example with "problems" of otherwise expensive types sell for far less than similar coins without problems.
