Hello All,

Looking for opinions on grades and the approximate range for the purchase price on 1951 and 1954 Florin.

These are the best images I had available from the seller.

Greyhat: to the CCF!

The RV is struck from rather worn dies, perhaps UNC., the Jubilee is good EF, (which is probably the most common grade for these).

I wouldn't get too excited about them. Most dealers can produce better examples of both, without ebay fees and postage costs.

I reckon about $10 each would be as much as you would want to pay. As Sel points out theyre very easy to obtain in high grades and any dealer would have nice examples at any given time.

I wouldn't pay more that $6.00-$8.00 each for them. There are plenty around, as Enworb points out, especially if you're looking on E-bay.

Greyhat
These coins were treated the same as the round 50 cent silver coins and most were just chucked into the scrap silver buckets, Most are VF or aEF .
However to find prime examples without all the bagging and verdegis (or dipped) also with full cartwheel lustre is quite tough.
