All-

Still struggling with my camera...

Anyway, I recently bought this off ebay and was pleased to discover it had a little character. Here's the full obverse:

1967-Denmark-1-Krone,-DDO-Or-Worn-Die-Doubling?

And here's a poor close up of "AF DA". You can see doubling most clearly at the top of the "F" and at the serifs of the "D". The die was obviously worn- you can make out a hairline fracture in Fred's bald patch, so I'm not sure this is true doubling or merely worn dies.

1967-Denmark-1-Krone,-DDO-Or-Worn-Die-Doubling?

Here's the reverse. You can see one crack coming off the "1", and there are others (invisible here) coming off the "K" and the "E". There is another coming off the lower leftmost animal on the shield.

1967-Denmark-1-Krone,-DDO-Or-Worn-Die-Doubling?

I kind of doubt this carries a monetary premium, but it's a nifty coin nonetheless.

cheers,
tbg

At first I was unsure, then I saw the bottom serifs on the "A" in DANMARK--they're incredibly thick compared to other parts of the legend. I would agree this is a doubled die; I'm just unsure which type--distended hub doubling, perhaps?
