Honestly, I do not know anything about this coin besides some googling and wandering about.

I know that it is %72 silver and about .64 troy ounces. But my question is, what is this 'lump' on the rim of the coin? It looks like a leak from the die, caused by a defective die? It's confusing me...and to be honest, I want to know if this error, the rarity of this coin, and age give it a nice premium value?

Would love any help I could get! Your thought? Condition/Error Opinion/Value. Thank you

to me, looks like a ring was soldered on, and it hung on a necklace at one time

Coins that have had mounts soldered onto them then ripped off again have little or no numismatic premium, unless they are super-scarce. Melt value only for this poor thing, I'm afraid.
