Here is my 1955 Wheat penny with some cool die polishing lines. Does the T in cent look to be recut or is it just another polishing line under the left arm?

Looks recut to me. I dig these polished die coins. The lustrous 40% Denver Kennedy halves have them in spades - never seen so many on a Lincoln (though, to be honest, I never looked hard). I'll check them out!

My new dealer has a box full of those for 1 dollar each.

I might post a picture later of the ones I bought.

baysinger626, not really - some people like them, some people don't. It just makes them more fun to look at!

@Tj, I just checked my wheat cents and just found out I didn't buy any of those kind?

I for sure thought I did buy a few!

This one shows it a very little on the right top side

Very nice coin, especially for a buck!

Recut? Not sure what you mean by that. Just a nice 65 coin with die polish lines.

@Bad, it's a 1955, lol.

I think he means some people enjoy seeing those lines.

Example: the woodie cent, people just somewhat like the finish.

He's talking MS65 which I would agree with in terms of grade.

I don't think I've seen the lines on a penny like this and I kinda find it attractive.
