Hello guys, so recently I bought this old coin from a guy at ebay. I thought the price was reasonable and the person had lots and lots of good feedback, which probably shows his items are authentic. I found this particular piece that I bought interesting, and I hope someone can help me identify this coin. Which date does it go back to? And who ruled during the production of this coin?
I am also sure this coin isn't that old.
Here is the ebay link to it:

Thanks in advance

EDIT - I should add that the mint of yours if the "Board of Revenue" mint - which was one of two large mints in Peking - the other being the Board or Public Works - hope that helps.

Most Chinese coins of this "workhorse" type were made in countless millions so the value is not high - but it is interesting.

Qing Dynasty cash coins are extremely common, even the ones that are now a couple of centuries old. They simply made so many of them. The Revenue Mint coins of this emperor's immediate predecessor, the Qian Long emperor (1736-1795), are probably one of the commonest coin types on the planet. $3 is probably even a little on the high side for these coins.

Don't worry about the shipping cost, it's cost was free to me because I bought more than 20 coins from this guy.
Also, Sap thanks for the info.
Much appreciated!
