That one looks fairly sharply ridged and angles in almost 90 degrees toward the center of the coin; I'd say that it is probably a short die crack. Tool marks, which are the spikes or short pointed lines you can often see near the rim, are most commonly no more than about 45 degrees or so to the rim, and usually even less.

The interesting thing is, you have a roll of this.

I found a full roll like this it starts small it spreads
every 10 coins or so

Actually, it looks like you have two separate errors there. Your first 2 pictures show the crack running right through one of the denticles, while the last two show the spike running between them, which matches the picture in the original post. IMO it's not a die progression, but quite a coincidence that the errors occur almost exactly in the same spot on the coin.

The sharply defined spike looks like a tooling mark on the die...
