A week ago I posed a couple of questions about buying a 1916 D
Mercury dime on
ebay, and whether it better to look at a raw one or certified one. I also asked if it was possible to find one in G4 in the $700 range. I solved my own problem by going to a local coin show and buying a good looking PCGS G4 for $750. I think I got a good price and bought it from a local dealer. Another dealer had a G4 in an ANACS slab and wanted a firm $1200 for it.
