No luster is showing (could be just the photos),so based on these pics, I wouldn't pay 250$.

Ask for better pics, or to see the coin in hand.

agreed, cant see much luster. have him take it out of the holder. I'm thinking this coin may have been cleaned and may have some light wear on it, it appears that there is no luster on the obv and halo luster around some of the devices on the rev like it was wiped with something. I think pics outside the holder may help determine what you have here. at best I think this is AU and $250 would be full price for a nice specimen not cleaned in AU. let's wait and see what some of the experts say.

Without a doubt ... Cleaned! See the reverse devices and the luster around them. It's a telltale sign.

AU details, cleaned. A similar example would be worth somewhere around $130-150.

Detail looks AU+ and I wouldn't pay more than $150 for it based on those images alone.
