I just found this in today's pocket change. I noticed the date looked odd. The 0 didn't look right and the bottom of the 1 was slanted. I went to coppercoins and bam, everything matched! So pumped right now. I think this came from McDonald's. Here is the coppercoins link to compare:

I wonder how many of these have slipped through the fingers of unsuspecting collectors?

Wait a minute...it's a Philly...okay, so that leaves out about the western 2/3 of the country...for now.

That has to be true. From about 2008 up I hardly ever run across a Denver minted coin. I have yet to pull a 2013 1, 5, or 10 cent coin from circulation with the D mint mark.

Great find Jay!

Is that a strong doubling I see on "IN GOD", or is it mostly reflection?

Last month I picked up a sealed box from my local bank(East coast), and to my surprise, over 2/3rd of the rolls were BU 2013's. I've searched half of them so far, but not even one stood out.

It's all reflection. I didn't see it while looking with my loupe to begin with. I noticed it when I took the pic. I thought, how in the world did I miss doubling that pronounced. So, I went back with the loupe and double checked and it isn't there. It looks like a wide spread doesn't it. Just a reflection. I'm glad someone asked, I forgot to mention it in my first post.

I'm in south Mississippi.According to their map I am in the Atlanta district but all we get here in "new" boxes are from the Denver mint. I can't explain it but it's a fact Jack.

In the desert we get about 95% Denvers. When the Phillies get here they are pretty much trashed. I have to have them sent in to get something different to look at.
