Is this coin as dull and lifeless in hand as it appears in the photos?

Maybe MS-62 if the luster is better than the photos indicate. I think the rim bruises limit it.

MS-62 details scratched. The staple scratch might get the dreaded details grade, in my case I've had a few that this happened too, (not in my possesion though).

I don't see any wear in this one, correct me if I am wrong.
Few minor nicks, both sides, slight abrasion next to wing, rims reasonably OK.
Shallow long scratch on cheek, but I'll betcha this doesn't show up very obviously in the hand.
MS62 or 3.

BTW I have about 4,000 coins. NONE of them are slabbed! Few of my top grade ones are screw encapsulated.
Slabs ARE around 'down under', but they are not as popular, as they are in the 'States.

Maybe MS-63 but like one of the 1890's posted, the luster doesn't appear as vibrant in the photos and if it looks similar in person, it could be overdipped.
