Nice coin. Send it in for grading and you will get no higher than aG-3. I suspect that the price is lowered because of the corrosion spots and scratches. View this for value:

I would say anywhere near $300 for yours. A dealer would pay you 1/2 of these values if you sold it to them. Nice Coin!

With a reverse like this, a TPG would without a doubt, give your coin AG3.
Even with a G4-G6 obverse, the reverse is taken into account bigtime.

thanks philadelphian for the clarification. to me the hooked lock of hair was what I thought distinguished it as a head of 95 but it was hard to tell due to the wear. was there something else that you saw to determine it is a 94?

The hair is the key to these; the hair pattern is as unique as a UPC bar code. I just eyeball the hair of known varieties and compare. I actually find it easier to pin down a specific die variety that way than to try to place it in a more general "Head Of..." group.
