Grade? Value? How should I sell this bad boy? One in a similar grade sold for £260!

Do you guys think its worth getting it conserved and graded?

for selling: graded YES , conserved NO.

conservation reduces your audience - leave it up to the final buyer if he/she wants to go that route. once down that road you can't go back.

Put a decent picture up.It will sell better in the UK non slabbed.
It must be in UNC to raise decent money.
There are plenty of penny monkeys.

There are 2 Freeman types for this date (80 & 82).Do your homework Ben.

Not sure what your coin is in Ben, but I'm sure you could slide it out to take a decent photo without needing to touch it with your fingers.

And personally I'd probably wrap it in a slip of paper or put it in a 2"x2". Just in case the envelope it's in is the nasty plastic that they used for some commemoratives in the 1970-80s and that can leave residue after a while.
