It was kind of a bitter sweet experience. It cost me just under $500 to get the coin graded, so I'm loosing in the long run. No one from Canada would send the coin in , so had to sign up as a member myself. I would never do it again.
I sent in some of my other coins, but because I didn't have anything else that was worth grading, I just sent them in for long shots, but they agreed with my grading, so none of the others increased in value due to the grading. I phoned dozens of coin shops all over Canada, but none of them will send in coins for you, they only send in their own. Sounds like it maybe different down where you live in the USA. Lots of little quirky things like they wont ship USA and Canadian coins together, so that's an extra $46 in return shipping right there.
