So over the weekend, I bought out a large collection, and part of it was 60+ rolls of red BU 1964 Canadian cents... I have no clue on the best way to get rid of the majority of them... I checked on ebay and a few people are selling them by the roll, but, being in the US, I'm not sure it would be cost effective to try and do that, since I'm sure most of the buyers would be in Canada... Another option would be to go through all of them, cull a handful of the best ones, and just get rid of the rest as scrap (I basically paid about face value for them)... Anyone have any suggestions on this?

Maybe when you get enough posts you could try trading/selling them here. But whatever you do, not let them go for scrap.

Sell them on ebay in lots of 4-5 rolls at a time. People will buy a 4-5 roll lot, and pay for the shipping, rather than pay almost the same shipping for a single roll.

I would like a couple of rolls when you have enough posts. I have a US post box that you could ship them to. You will need 250 posts before you sell them here. If you list them on ebay, you can post the auction number here so that interested buyers know where to look.

Quote: I will buy all of them off of you at once and pay the shipping to Canada. Ningcumpoop, this is just one of the rules you agreed to abide by when you joined this forum. 50 quality* posts and membership for 14 days are required to; buy items, respond to a trade, or post a want list. Maybe you should go back and read them all again. Here is the link. http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/rules.asp

Wow, I'm really suprised there seems to be so much interest, I don't really collect anything after 1940 and picked these up basically as a throw-in... I like SPP's idea of putting them up in lots of a 4 or 5 rolls... I think I will throw up a few lots later tonight on ebay and see what happens, I ended up paying $50 for 66 rolls of the 1964's, so I guess I did ok? (judging by the other prices on ebay)... I can only imagine what the shipping cost for 5 rolls to canada would be though...
