It's really a very battered example so it wouldn't really attract a collector - it's a very common coin.

Well nice examples go for about £50 or so. I don't know what the silver value of this is - but if it's about £30 or so then that's it - melt value - whatever that is - maybe plus a couple of quid. I would STRONGLY advise not to by it :)

Krause is definitely only a very general guide for coins of this era and type. It grossly undervalues most of them. VF could be the US grading but European grading would put this less than fine. It's really quite a horrible example.
