That looks more like either a die crack or lamination issue

I'm thinking it is a die dent. Looks like a sever polishing (Note area around the mouth and eye.) happened to the die and possibly another die made contact and left that dent in this die.

It probably all depends on how severe they are. The examples I've seen are more so on the rim areas of the Cents I've seen. But stronger die dents are probably out there.
What does the reverse look like?
