Found this today during a very interesting CRH session, lol. I got $5 worth of CWR pennies and there were a lot of strange finds in there.

I am attaching two pics, one with flash and one without, you can see there is kind of a weird lip/edge on the left side of the coin, particularly noticeable where it crosses through "IN GOD" on the top.

Is this a broadstrike? Or something else? ...Is it worth anything (above 1 cent) lol?

Looks to be some type of die erosion rather than a broadstruck coin. It's common on zinc Lincolns and shouldn't be worth anything above one cent.

Happens a lot on the 80's cents. It happens only on the Zincolns. Must be an issue with the single squeeze dies. Very common.

Happens on copper cents and other denominations as well, but is much scarcer. It is common on Zincolns. Not an issue with the single squeeze dies as it is common on Zincolns all the way back to 1982 and the single squeeze dies did not come along until around 1997.
