Ben Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 4208 Posts	Posted 07/01/2013 2:45 pm I got my first ancient coin from a guy exactly 1 year ago and came to this forum to ask for help with it, making myself look like an idiot in the process. Since then, I've gone through in excess of 300 coins and I'm looking for another 100 (my cleaning batch dried up months ago which is why I've been so inactive). At the moment, I'm seeing more ancients go then come. got one on the bay right now which is proving mighty popular so wish me luck - perhaps ill be able to buy a new batch with the proceeds! VF condition. That was purchased from Spinks in London, in 1978, for three hundred and sixty pounds. I still have it.
