The Lotus Dragon - is the best (IMO)

Since it mine year, I wanted to keep only it....but later decided to collect the set (nice long term collection), and managed to get the previous for acceptable price.

Now it not too late to start.

Since when is posting a link to the Mint's website, a link that's over three years old, prohibited?

Anybody who still wants to see the photos....
1) Go to the mint's website
2) Do a search for the word "subscription" in the search engine
3) Click on Archives (Archives means its old stuff)
4) Look for Zodiac 12-Year Subscription Series (2010-2021), you will find three of them. By opening up each one, you will see the photos for the upcoming coins for this series from 2010 all the way to 2021.

Again, the photos were posted on the Mint's website over three years ago so they are NOT pre-release, and not a masterclub exclusive.

The links to the Chinese Zodiac coins on the Mint's website have also been posted many times in the history of this forum. Do a search for "Chinese Zodiac" and you will find many.

Ok, you correct - the case is required
try to search ebay / Kijiji - perhaps you'll be able to find for ~300.

I forgot - RFD...seems that I saw the same conversation there and people might have box for sale.

Tiger for ~160? Not cheap, but sounds good. It is Taiwan..but I do not think, that it might be fake.

Rabbit will be expensive....but in almost every series there is an expensive coin.

Sorry for not being cleaer, it's case with 3 or 4 coins. So you are looking at roughtly $150-$200 for the case alone

@Lostwords, that's still a lot just for the box. Of course, the box is really fancy looking.

Yes, it is a lot...but let's say we sometimes pay more for single coin
and the box is the "base" of this collection.

$700 for first 4 coins - not over- expensive, taking in account that there are rare Rabbit and Tiger

I really like the regular issue white presentation box that this set comes in. I mean its a lot nicer then the standard maroon clamsell that you usually get. Having the case would be nice but not having it wouldn't be end of the world for this set.

I managed to contact the seller and negotiate the price down for the box and the first 4 coins. Now I need to sell a 2011 Canada rabbit coin. I wonder what I could get for it to help pay towards this purchase. The good news is, any future coins I can get most likely below issue price after they sell out. Only the tiger and rabbit coins have done well resell value that is.

via ebay? I have yet to master a way for them to contact me via email.

They over do it with the dragon with the high mintage... same with the snake.

Buy the case with the coins, and do not worry about Rabbit resell.
The lowest BIN on ebay - $180 + shipping $15 (Canada)
(to buy it,may be?)

There is another,cheaper,from China.
Actually,I bit surprised.When I got mine(for good price),the average was $200+
