No, I haven't abandoned Morgans entirely.

Presented here for your viewing pleasure is an 1878-P 7 Tailfeathers Morgan, of the VAM-79 variety. This
VAM is a Top-50 variety, one of the more desirable known for the year and mint. It is in an NGC MS-63 holder, along with 5 others the highest grade recorded at NGC for this
VAM.
There are 4 main features which characterize this
VAM.
1) It is a B1 Reverse, the Long Nock with the arrow's nock extended past the fletches.
2) The last 3 leaves of the olive branch in the eagle's claws are disconnected, the result of die polishing.
3) On the obverse, prominent doubling is noted in the first 3 left stars. My example is a slightly weak strike, in which the star doubling more resembles broken tips, an indication of how dramatic the doubling actually is.
4) Also due to overpolishing, the nostril is broken, giving this
VAM its' name.

This coin was purchased from the
ebay store of Coin Community member Shipwreckcoins. Although I know that information is available here which ties my
ebay username to my forum nick, I have no reason to believe that he was aware that it was me making the purchase.
So, when I tell you that the service provided by this seller is as good as I've ever been given by an Ebayer, understand that I'm saying it in the belief that it's this guy's normal practice. The coin was shipped the next day, and a tracking number was in my email Inbox less than 18 hours after my purchase. It arrived packed in
5 separate layers. Included with it was a high-quality 8.5x11 digital print, on glossy photo paper, of the auction picture. This doubled as a Certificate of Authenticity for the coin, and was labeled and signed in ink by the seller.
Needless to say, this seller joins my short list of "recommend without hesitation" dealers.
