I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some help identifying which 1972-P DDO this is. In the date you can see the split in the top loop-end of the 9 and the spread in the 9 overall. In LIBERTY you can see the spread in "BERTY", especially on the tail of the Y. In the motto you can see the separation in the "N GOD" in particular and in the WE you can see a spread in the "E", and the "RUS" in TRUST show a similar spread.

The cent isn't in the best of shape so it is kind of hard to determine which DDO this is. All opinions are appreciated and welcomed, thanks!

From my knowledge and I am not an expert 1972 had a problem with the dies and it has the look like this in more than one mint. So this one is not a DDO thats worth any premium. Lets wait on the pros.

Killians76 got it right. It is master die doubling. You can find this on dies from all three mints. Common and not worth a premium. Here is what confirms it and I can see it on your coin.

Wow, it sure had me fooled (not that hard to do, actually). It doesn't look like most of the MDD I have seen on other coins. Lesson learned...
