Can you guys help me identify the exact specifics of this coin. I tried taking good photos and these are about the best I can provide. Any information on this coin is appreciated. My find for the day :)
The individual die varieties of large cents from 1793 to 1814 were first described and compiled by Dr. William Sheldon. He gave each a number, referred to as the Sheldon number; in this case, Sheldon-196.
based on the pics I cant see any damage. looks like it was cleaned a long time ago. I would grade this at G6. at full retail it would be about $170. most are selling for around the $100 range
