Liberty looks like she is about to fly off gracefully in the sky! Awesome artwork and detail! If it was silver and I could afford it, I would buy it without a doubt! Ironically, the regulars on the Mint News Blog hate the design with the gears, and preferred the America with stars design, which was nice but super boring. It was like 9 to 1 against the gears design, so if its tepresentative of collectors, might be a low pop coin. I think it will find a wider audience than they think. One of the best designs to come out of the mint in the last five years. I have none of the platinum 1oz proofs, but I'll spring for this one, even @ $1,750.00 per coin. Just too beautiful to pass by. I do like the liberty - very nice looking coin in general. I am one of the people who can't (won't) buy the coin... I've thought I might buy the small gold 1/10 ounce...more in my price range!
